Fruit Tart - April 25 - Major Rogation Day & St. George
Today is traditionally for prayer and abstinence, particularly for a bountiful harvest and protection from natural disasters. We think one of the best ways to celebrate is with a quick, no-bake tart decorated with your own harvest, either homegrown or store-bought. Bonus, this recipe is simple enough that even the tiniest of hands can join in!
Nota bene: This recipe can double for the feast of St. George on April 23. Just arrange red fruits, like strawberries or cherries, in the shape of a cross and enjoy!
