Wildfire Relief Effort

As you well know, during the month of January, a tragic series of wildfires ravaged the Los Angeles area. The fires and their widespread devastation sadly affected the Tierney and Norton's hometown, including many families from St. Monica Academy and Christ the King Homeschool, which have served Kendra's family for many years.

Kendra's home has been spared (with damage), but many of her friends were not as fortunate. There are many who are struggling greatly!

Catholic All Year has been wonderfully overwhelmed with offers to support those whose lives and homes were devastated by the fires. Here you will find all of the resources we have for how you can rally around this community, whether in prayer, with practical donations, or financial support.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity in exploring this page and looking for ways to help! May God bless you and your families!

How would you like to help?

  • with a practical/local donation

Do you have something physical to offer to victims, like housing, transportation, or home goods? (No clothes needed at this time!) Please fill out the pop-up form on this page. We will connect you with a family in need! If you don't hear from us, it means your donation wasn't needed at this time. See option two!

    donate something
  • with prayers

Spiritual support is always needed! Join us in a nationwide novena for those affected by the fires. Our nine days of communal prayer begin on January 24 and end on February 2, the feast of Candlemas.

    pray with us

  • with financial support directly to families

There are many families in the Altadena community in need of direct support! See below for more information regarding the individuals and families whose lives were devastated by the fires and who are in dire need of immediate financial assistance.

    find a family to support
  • with general financial support

Catholic All Year is collecting general funds to distribute to families in the Tierney and Norton's community. We have created a special collection of items, and ALL profits will go toward the fire relief efforts. You can also add a monetary donation of any amount to any order placed in The Catholic All Year Marketplace!
