These beautiful California Mission postcards feature views of the the missions established between 1769 and 1823 by Spanish Franciscan missionaries along the California coast from San Diego to San Francisco.
This set includes reproduction early nineteenth century postcards and an eighteenth century-style pencil engraved with “Siempre adelante, nunca atras, Always forward, never back”, the motto of St. Junipero Serra, founder of the first nine missions. The pencil can be sharpened with a utility knife (not included).
You can purchase either all twenty-one mission postcards, or a set of nine featuring just the missions that were founded by St. Junipero Serra. Each set comes with one pencil, and one string and button envelope.
Professionally printed in the USA on 14-pt paper weight uncoated white cardstock, and packaged in a string and button kraft paper envelope.
