Ossi di Morto, or “Bones of the Dead” are traditional Italian cookies, typically baked for Hallowtide. They’re gluten free and almond flavored with a delicate lemon scent and a wonderful chewy texture. Kids enjoy helping to shape the “bones”. They make great “relics” for an All Saints Day party and are delicious served with zabaglione for dipping (and to use the leftover egg yolks and lemon juice!).
